چکیده
Abstract Background Synchronous multifocal lung cancer (SMLC) is diagnosed with increasing frequency in clinical practice globally. Due to innate variation management and outcome, it vital properly distinguish between synchronous primary (SMPLC) intrapulmonary metastasis (IM). The pathologic features principal classification criteria of remain unclear. Our objective was evaluate the diagnostic value histological morphologic driver gene mutations SMLC classification. Methods We collected a unique cohort Chinese patients SMLC, fully explored morphologic, immunohistochemical, molecular disease. Twenty-one total 50 tumours were included our study. pathological that presented by these analysed, including location, size, types, predominant pattern adenocarcinoma, immunohistochemical staining. conducted testing nine oncogenes are associated cancer, namely, EGER, KRAS, BRAF, NRAS, ALK, ROS1, RET, HER2, PIK3CA. Results According Martini-Melamed refined standard, 8 17 patients, respectively, considered have SMPLCs. Gene identified 18 (36%). Twelve had different mutations. Conclusions demonstrate conventional morphological assessment not sufficient clearly establish clonal relationship Instead, evaluation subtypes, nonmucinous adherent components, required. Multiplex genotypic analysis may also prove be useful additional tool.

from 1950s onward, new theories and critical approaches burgeoned across humanities. these theories were context-oriented; as a result, the analysis of discursive practices gained significance. thus, social, political, historical and cultural discourses that have been hitherto marginalized and considered inferior to literary texts, were introduced as important texts to be analyzed by critics. o...
phylogeography and genetic diversity of the lesser mouse- eared bat (myotis blythii) in iran
in current study, 63 samples of bat populations collected from differ regions were used for evaluating the geographic variations. twenty cranial and dental characters for traditional morphometric and landmarks method on the ventral, dorsal skull and mandible for geometry morphometric studies were used. statistical analyses of traditional morphometric and geometry morphometric data indicated low...
Genomic heterogeneity of multiple synchronous lung cancer
Multiple synchronous lung cancers (MSLCs) present a clinical dilemma as to whether individual tumours represent intrapulmonary metastases or independent tumours. In this study we analyse genomic profiles of 15 lung adenocarcinomas and one regional lymph node metastasis from 6 patients with MSLC. All 15 lung tumours demonstrate distinct genomic profiles, suggesting all are independent primary tu...
متن کاملClinical and genetic heterogeneity in multifocal vitelliform dystrophy.
OBJECTIVE To describe the clinical and genetic findings in 15 patients with multifocal vitelliform lesions. METHODS All patients and, if possible, affected family members underwent an ophthalmic examination and their genomic DNA was analyzed for mutations in the vitelliform macular dystrophy 2 (VMD2) gene. Patients who did not have a mutation in the VMD2 gene were screened for mutations in th...
متن کاملVitamin D receptor genetic variants are associated with susceptibility of gallbladder adenocarcinoma in a Chinese cohort.
The aim of this study was to test for the possible association between vitamin D receptor (VDR) genetic variants and susceptibility to gallbladder cancer (GBC). A total of 291 GBC cases were recruited and 396 gender- and age-matched healthy volunteers were enrolled as controls. The VDR gene polymorphisms were determined in all subjects. The genotype and the allele frequencies of ApaI, BsmI, and...
